The Joy of Cats

I have not been feeling well the last few days and I've spent most of the last 24 hours in bed. The cats have seen this as a fantastic thing -- big warm lump, not moving very often, plenty of real estate to go 'round. I was very happily dozing when one of my cats, Spider, sat up and began scratching vigorously, at which point something bounced off my head and went down my shirt. I jumped out of bed and sure enough it was a big fat bloated tick.

Ew!!!!

I am very much awake and out of bed now.
