3200 words on the FEB story. Nobody's died yet, but we're getting really close... This story is unfolding slower than usual, which means I expect I'm gonna end up with something of distinctly unsaleable length. )-: Whatever; the story is as it needs to be, and I'm not going to worry about the length until after the first draft is finished.

This is why I like to write novels.
