I have broken down and finally signed up on Twitter, for the sole purpose of following the Hugo Awards ceremony tonight in something approximating live. (We're fandom, why the hell aren't we streaming this somewhere?)

Fear not, I will NOT be cross-posting any "tweets" here. Here on LJ is where I post things I consider meaningful, relevant, and/or deeply funny. Facebook is where I post stuff that's only very briefly relevant and likely uninteresting except to those who know me in person. If I post anything to Twitter, it'll be because it's almost entirely irrelevant to anyone or anything, or so completely meaningless beyond the moment that it might as well be.
