Went for a nice long walk with the doggie last weekend while the big kid watched the sprogs. Took her through the old farm field and down to the stream, where only the mass presence of mosquitoes prevented me from taking off my flipflops and dipping my toes in the water.

All week since been wondering why my feet were so itchy.

Oh yes. Flip flops = mostly bare feet. Old farm field = poison ivy. Doh!

Yikes! I hope you only have a little bit. What works for me... I soak the poison ivied portion of my body in HOT water. As hot as I can stand. It itches FURIOUSLY for a little bit and then stops itching.
