setting sail towards an uncertain horizon
Feb. 25th, 2007 03:57 pmBy The Time I Get To Phoenix, weighing in at 8,000 words (hey, what can I say? I kept adding more space battles), is now out the proverbial e-door to the Vandermeer Pirate Anthology.
Yay! I finished it! It was, in the end, well worth writing whether or not it sells because now I know my pirates and the capabilities of their ship, the Sidewinder, a lot better. Which is important because they play a key role in Novel the Second, which is now moved up to number two in the to-be-worked-on queue.
Now I'm going to make myself some tea, start some laundry, and maybe take a look at revisions on Two For The Starry Night.
Hope your Sunday is likewise a healthy mix of accomplishment, relaxation, and creativity (-:
(ETA: much thanks go out to
llcoolvad,
infinitehotel, and
stale_hermit for their rapid and useful feedback...)
