...and it's out again
Mar. 5th, 2007 03:10 pmSo except for a brief lull this morning I'm still at eight things out, ranging from about 4 minutes to 367 days. Good stuff (-:
I am quickly realizing that one of the disadvantages of trying to keep as much stuff on submission as possible is that you get rejections a lot more frequently that way. If only that applied equally to sales...
I only got about 6,000 words revised/written on Novel the Second this weekend, but I also did a zillion loads of laundry and some other errands that involved driving all over the state (and into southern NH) on Saturday, so I count it a successful weekend. Man, I forgot how badly people drive in eastern MA. Either that or they've gotten a *lot* worse...

curses! (#57)
Mar. 5th, 2007 06:00 pmTwo rejections in one day is REALLY not fair, O Spirits of the Universe. Especially when you don't hit me with the second one until after the post office is already closed.
"Nice writing" but no interest from F&SF for Lima Bean. Turnaround 6 days.
I'm not sure where to send this one next. It's not my usual sort of tale, and might actually be somewhat subtle. (I know what you're thinking: Subtle? from me? How is that possible? Hey, if *everything* had ninjas in it, *nothing* would have ninjas in it.) It falls in that vague DMZ between slipstream and mainstream, and is an awkward 7k in length.
Anyhow, market suggestions definitely welcome.
