augh! no phone!
Aug. 18th, 2007 02:09 pmMy phone suddenly cut out and stopped working about an hour ago. (Yes, I paid the bill.) I'm at work now, because I needed a phone to call and report the problem and I don't generally have cellphone coverage at my house.
The earliest they can get a repair person out to my house is Monday. This means no phone and no internet until then. It's been an hour and I've already got that sort of isolation-induced panick thing going...
Worse, my parents are in the middle of driving across the country towards my house (a joyful thing in and of itself) and are supposed to arrive sometime probably tomorrow. They were supposed to call me today to give me an ETA, and now I have no idea and they won't be able to reach me.
Aaaarrrgggh! Because I needed some extra stress on top of my parents visiting.
Anyhow, if anyone else is trying to call me, you can't. Nor can I get email.
