I made a revision pass through Silence and Roses tonight for the purposes of trying to pull about 800 words from it, and ended up adding 300. )-: They were good words, though.

That puts me square in that no-man's-land where it's too big to be a short, but too short to really be much of anything else.

Further thinking is required.
