the ghosts that haunt me now
Sep. 6th, 2009 11:41 pmNow that every spare moment of my life is being consumed by work (to the tune of 60hrs a week or more, which when you subtract out hours spent commuting and wrangling babies, leaves me about 5 hrs sleep a night) both the flesh-eating bacteria novel and my novel-on-indefinite-submission have been getting chatty. If there's any shorts in there wanting my time, they aren't being heard over the din. And yet I can't do anything about it until I figure out LM and NT hashes and all this random Samba/LDAP crap.
Hopefully by the time I finish they won't have all lapsed into silence again; I'm really more than ready to be getting back to writing again.
If all goes well, I should be in the last week of work hell before I can get back to my usual routine and division of labor (-:
