In my brain, I think of myself as being about 23. (In my knees and back, I'm about 90.) I don't usually feel old, and when I do it's usually because my @!#$! body isn't as resilient as it was when I actually was 23 and took it completely for granted.

So, okay, this whole Twilight shit makes me feel old, because I just don't get it. It seems STUPID. The books sound STUPID, the movies sound STUPID, the whole thing just screams STUPID. Vampires are angsty teens with sparkly skin? WTF? There was something online I ran across the other day after People magazine voted Johnny Depp "world's sexiest man" (again) where a bunch of Twilight fans were protesting because they thought their guy was waaaaaaay sexier. I mean, look at this guy. Cute an' all, sure, but he looks like he's just thrown his sippy cup of milk on the floor in a pouty-fit and is waiting to see if he's gonna get away with it or get a time-out. Sexy? Yeeeeeeeesh, no.

Does this make me old? Or, please, someone tell me that there are people out there who are actually 23 (instead of delusional 23 like me) who think this is this is stupid shit too.
