Was doing things around the house late at night last night when, without warning, gravity suddenly came back on. I tried to flap my arms and/or grab something as I fell, but did not achieve sufficient lift or purchase to prevent (or even noticeably slow) the inevitable; in a move of remarkably poor planning, I did break my fall with a shoebox full of hammers and screwdrivers, a milk crate, a trash can, and one knee before my right arm burnt up on re-entry across the rug.
So yes, I am full of ouch, but despite the wide swath of damage, I gotta say I think it still hurt less than the time I fell down the basement stairs and impaled my foot on a broken curtain rod.
