Feb. 26th, 2010 12:04 amI'm not sure where I first caught the link to this today (LJ? Twitter? FB?) but applications for the Launch Pad workshop are being accepted soon and, by golly, my folks have actually said they'd take the kids for the week if I got accepted.
Of course I've got no idea what my chances would be to get in since I'm pretty much an FTL-enamored space-opera-writer-monkey, but it'd be cooler than cool to have better science. I might be able to stop having to duck my head in shame every time I pass the radio astronomers in the hallway at work. (-:
Anyhow, I'm going to apply. What's the worst that could happen?
