or, just over 2000 words this weekend, pretty good considering I spent last night and almost all of today completely knocked flat by a migraine. You know the sort of headache where even your teeth hurt? Even your eyebrows hurt? Yeah, that.

Anyhoo, that's a chapter 2 done. It ain't very good, but it does what it needs to and I can go back later and make it more purty. Now to take some more ibuprofen, have myself a nice hot shower, and go to bed. Tomorrow morning will come an hour earlier than my body is expecting it to.

Now that I've started actually making progress on the Unnamed Fantasy Thing, my bad guy from the Flesh-Eating Bacteria story finally decided to make an appearance and tell me what he was going to do next. Yes, I threw him for quite a loop (intentionally so) and one of the reasons the story has been stalled is because I just couldn't figure out how he'd react. But hey, now I know.

So it's back to the F-E-B-Story, at least for tonight. I'd really like to finish this and get it passed through my Usual Critters (assuming they will talk to me again, after I subjected them to Zombie Cabana Boy) and out the door. Not that I have high expectations of selling it, since it's already crossed into Novella territory and people have barely begun to die, but really finishing it at all is the current victory-condition.

And since the action should just pick up from here, it should get easier to write, right? Uh, right? No, seriously, just nod your head and agree with me.
