Realized I had a sequencing problem in the story that, while not hugely impactful on the plot, was going to inconveniently derail the build-up of tension, etc., on the way through, and weaken my main character in the process. So I've pulled out a few key events and rearranged what was left into a much more sensible progression. Those events will go back in a little further on in the story, which should put me back on track again shortly. Lots of work, mostly done already.
It was generally a very productive day, even considering that I was knocked out by a migraine for a large chunk of the afternoon and evening. That said, it's definitely time for some more ibuprofen and a comfy bed.
