However, first I must figure out where in my windowless office the very-elderly cat has suddenly taken to peeing, 'cause I can't handle being in here for more than a few minutes at a time, and we all know how good I am at writing *short* fiction.
Also: clean plague of pinecones from yard. Anyone else ever notice how much pinecones sound just exactly like great big bugs when you step on 'em and squash 'em? I can't decide if I like doing it, or if it squicks me just ever so slightly, or both.
