While cleaning up some old papers, found the following in an otherwise-empty notebook, with the (oh-so-illuminating) title "story notes":

dead alien civilizations gestalt [some word I can't make out here] explosions catacombs assassin robots -- look like giant lizards!

Man, what I wouldn't give to know where I was gonna go with that.
