adopt a plant!

A couple of years back I decided, mostly for the challenge of it, to see if I could root the top of a pineapple I'd just eaten. And it worked! Worked too well -- the plant split in two, and now I have two pineapple plants. They're both very healthy and happy as can be, and have spent the summer out in the driveway soaking up sunshine. Problem is, it's starting to get cold out, and I don't have enough room in my limited sunny windows for both.

So I'm looking to find a new, loving home for one of them. Any of my local or semi-local friends with a green thumb interested? I'm even willing to bring it east. It's just that I'm rather fond of them, and I want to see it go to someone who will take good care of it.
