losing my touch?

Finished the first draft of the current short story last night, but didn't have that "OMG-I-finished-it!" rush I usually get. Same thing when I finished the first draft of the flesh-eating bacteria novel, and part of the reason I haven't gone back to that for the second pass yet is because I'm waiting for my backbrain to tell me what's wrong, and it's been distinctly mum.

Sigh.

Writing is hard.
