1. It's been three days since you sent the story out.
2. You sent it to a market with an average response time of forty-four days, which you'll note is still forty-one days away from now.
3. It's the holiday season, which is always slower.
4. It's also a market you've never managed to sell anything to.
5. So chill the fuck out with this ridiculous excitement, you're acting like a total newbie and it's only gonna make that rejection sting all the more.

(Then again, if I didn't get my stories to the point where I felt that way, I probably wouldn't send them out.)
