some writing after all

About 1200 words today, along with two naps, one load of laundry, and half the dining room cleaned. My heroes are all still stuck in the bottom of a very big pit, but at least they're talking to each other now (albeit with some entirely understandable suspicion). Chapter 7 is half-done, and I'm going to set myself a baby-step goal of having it finished by Wednesday. That should leave plenty of time for moping and playing solitaire (latest obsession: pileon) and still getting the writing done.
