Gone

Maisie Roo is off to a new home today up in the wilds of Maine, with a lovely couple and their cattle dog, Jasper. I did really well and didn't cry until they were putting her in their car. It's for the best -- these people will take wonderful care of her -- but it still is hard as hell and hurts. )-:

I am very sad. She was a sweet dog, if always just a little more than I could really handle.

I'm so sorry it had to come to this, but it sounds like you found her a great home, which is more than many pet owners would do. {{{HUGS}}}

I'm glad you were able to find a good home for her.

Bye Maisie Roo! I think Maine has almost enough ground for her to cover while chasing the ball. Again and again and again and again and again...

They really are absolutely adorable, and a right pain because they'd much rather be active than be adored. It's just unfair, I tell you!

<Hugs>

I know that the knowledge that you've done the right thing doesn't help much, but I salute you.

Knowing you did the right thing doesn't make it hurt any less. *hugs* to you.

The right thing to do is not always the easy thing to do. Hopefully in the long run it will be easier and better for the both of you. :-)
