It's cold enough out that the Akita came in voluntarily. Now *that's* cold.

Currently it is 2° (about -16° C) and I'm feeling especially grateful for having a warm indoors. And shortly, as soon as I finish my tea, I'm going to consign myself to my even warmer bed.

...and the furnace is dead again.

...and the furnace is fixed again. Some bushing, completely unrelated to the New Year's Eve failure. Let's hope this isn't indicative of how 2009's luck is gonna run.

(It's been a definite plus in terms of speed of service that my oil co. is a mom&pop place right down the street...)
