Aug. 1st, 2009 11:44 pmDinner at On the Border tonight. They've completely changed their menu since the last time I was there, resulting in far fewer things I can eat -- almost but not quite zero, to be exact. Asked the waiter if there were peppers in their pico de gallo, mentioned that I'm allergic, and next thing I know the manager's at the table explaining to me pretty much that there's peppers in everything. I changed my order to a plain chicken quesadilla, and then the manager came back again to let me know that all their chicken comes pre-seasoned and they don't know with what. Nor do they have any information about the seasoning other than that it contains "spices".
Is it me, or is that kinda disturbing?
