1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Depends on who I'm giving to, and if I think they'll re-use a bag. I've also used fabric.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial. See earlier posts on the subject.
3. When do you put up the tree? First weekend after Thanksgiving, or whenever my hypokinetic disorder is in remission.
4. When do you take the tree down? Sometime after New Years, depends on my mood. The tree is a happy thing, so I keep it up longer if I'm feeling down.
5. Do you like eggnog? Blech, no.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? An early electronic game called Dark Tower
7. Hardest person to buy for? My father.
8. Easiest person to buy for? My kids. Especially babies. Heck, what, are they gonna complain?!?
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Oh heck no. Not my religion, man. But I drive by one every day that for no obvious reason has a green cow in it.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Usually I try to hand them out in person.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? My parents bought me this horrible day-glo pink goblin statue once. The horror of it!
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Used to be the Grinch, until Jim Carrey ruined it. Now, Olive the Other Reindeer.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Uh, sometime usually before the 20th of December.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas Gift? Sure.
15. Favorite Holiday thing to eat at Christmas? Turkey.
16. Lights on tree, different colors or white: It varies.
17. Favorite Christmas song? Not really fond of christmas music.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay at home? Stay home, if I can help it.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Nope.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Something random. Right now it's a dove. Last year it was a beanie-baby cardinal.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Morning of.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? People going on about "putting the Christ back in christmas". Hey, it was my winter holiday first and you stole it, and I'm sure doing my darnedest to get your Christ OUT of my christmas, thank you very much!
23. What theme or color are you using? All. I like silver though.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Turkey.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I'd like 2009 to be a better year for my friends.
